IAH Go Around Continental Airlines 737-500 Rejected Landing Houston Boeing Abort

Looks like your typical Continental Airlines Boeing 737-500 landing at Houston Intercontinental, BUT it appears we were too high and had to do a go around!!! First time I had to experience that on Continental Airlines. The captain speaks towards the end of the video at 2:27 about the go around. The very next day I had an aborted take-off on a Continental Express Chautauqua flight.

@need7when My camera is tightly wrapped around my hand several times. If it is going somewhere I’m going with it. Using Projectile argument, big hard back books people bring on the plane and can read during landing and take off are far more dangerous. Those hard back Harry Pottery books are bigger and weight a lot more than my camera and are not strapped to the person reading it. One of those hitting you it going to be like getting hit with a brick. I guess those should be banned too.

@airbuntie ATC turned us in too soon therefore we were too high and too fast to make the landing safely so the pilots opted to go around.
